Even with the best of planning, sometimes designs and projects can or need to evolve, making an original design impractical as the work progresses. I collaborate with designers, builders, and homeowners to ensure that the final product delivers the form and function of the project vision.
Getting it right while looking for what can go wrong: We all want the finished work to show well and perform flawlessly. By proactively searching for potential design conflicts and anticipating how my work will interface with surrounding surfaces, we can make intentional choices to keep a consistent and well planned execution rather than a series of reactive “best fits.”
Meticulous attention to detail: The “devil is in the details,” and getting the details right can make all the difference between acceptable work and something outstanding. It is not enough for the details to work; they need to integrate to support the work itself, its place in the home, and the surrounding space as a whole.
